Member participation in the Climate Care Certified Program is VOLUNTARY and is available exclusively to members of SPASA Australia.
As part of the process, all products, systems and installations submitted for registration will undergo a claims verification process undertaken by a SPASA appointed panel.

SPASA acknowledges that some products, installations, treatments and systems are distributed under multiple brands or packaging variations which use the identical or shared attributes.
Subject to SPASA approval, only one application is needed for products, installations and systems that are differentiated by brand or external packaging with identical or shared attributes.
The SPASA Expert Panel will consider each application on their own merit. Additional administration fees may apply.
The rebranding of an existing Climate Care Certified product, installation or system by other entities requires a new application.
Certification valid for two years from approval, renewed every two years.
To maintain Climate Care Certification, applicants must demonstrate continued compliance with the Climate Care Certification Program. In its absolute discretion SPASA may undertake periodical audits.
Renewal of Climate Care Certified product and systems will be every two years. Applicants must ensure the renewal process commences within two months of the expiry of the two-year term.
SPASA members, upon request, are eligible to receive the Climate Care Certified logo(s) to be used in advertising and marketing materials to promote their status.
All SPASA and related logos are the exclusive property of the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Australia Ltd. Marketing resources and logos are provided to the registrant only in respect to their certified products, systems or installations; sharing these files and use by all other individuals and organisations is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from SPASA.
SPASA has the right to cancel a member’s Climate Care Certification in the following circumstances:
If a member ceases to be a financial member of SPASA
If a product or system fails at any time to meet the Climate Care Certified criteria
If a member is unable to substantiate claims made at any time during the certification term
If a member makes false marketing claims about the product, system or installation/retrofit/construction
The member brings the Association into disrepute in any way
The member fails to comply with the SPASA Constitution and Code of Conduct. Contact SPASA for details.
SPASA reserves the right to publish the cancellation of the member’s Climate Care Certification status in whatever way it deems necessary.
PRODUCT or SYSTEM
1 – 5 Employees - $890 per product every tw\o years
More than 5 employees - $1980 per product every two years
INSTALLATION/RETROFIT/CONSTRUCTION
$1980 flat fee licence fee every two years (covers all verifiable pools and spas built/renovated/retrofitted within this period)
NB: Applications that are not approved under the Climate Care Program will receive a refund less an administration fee of $250.
SPASA reserves the right to vary the Terms and Conditions of the Climate Care Certification Program at any time.
